IFRA launches consultation on update to safe use program
The International Fragrance Association has launched a period of consultation on the latest update to its safe use program, the IFRA Standards.
The consultation, which relates to the 51st Amendment to the IFRA Standards, is open until 30 November 2022.
Such a consultation exercise is an essential part of the process for setting the IFRA Standards, giving members, customers and other interested stakeholders an opportunity to comment or share observations on the proposed changes.
Documents included in the consultation include guidance for the use of IFRA Standards, including the standard operating procedure for the 51st Amendment; the individual IFRA Standards as listed in the Consultation Letter; and an annex on contributions from other sources to the IFRA Standards (combining information on presence in naturals as well as Schiff bases).
Further details on the consultation are available via IFRA's internal Sharepoint, or by contacting IFRA's scientific team for more information.
